Profile
Tim Brown has a PhD in Materials Physics, and is a researcher with the Materials Physics Group at Queen's University, headed by Dr. Kevin Robbie.
The Materials Physics Group is working on the next generation of coating technology. This has direct applications for: solar cells with increased power generation, batteries with increased power storage, surfaces with enhanced water repelling and evaporation, and enhanced display technology, when compared to conventional coatings. These examples are only a handful of possible applications.
The Materials Physics Group is also devleoping a proof-of-concept apparatus that moves this coating technology from the laboratory scale, to a pilot-line small-scale industry friendly coating unit.
If you are interested in a collaborative project, please feel free to contact Tim.
